    “De plaats is niet heel sprankelend. Het strand is dichtbij en erg fijn, maar qua uitgaansgelegenheden valt het tegen. Mocht je hier niet naar op zoek zijn, dan is het een top plaats met een goede supermarkt en fijn winkelcentrum en enkele restaurants met lage prijzen.”

    “Carcavelos ist ein beliebter Ferienort für Strandliebhaber. Herrliches Wasser zum Baden und Surfen. Für junge und jung gebliebene Menschen und Familien eine perfekte Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Apotheke sind nur um die Ecke. Restaurants ebenfalls. Auch direkt am Strand ist das Essen gut und die Preis/Leistung stimmt.

    Carcavelos ist durch seine sehr gute Zugverbindung ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Lissabon ist nur 20 Zugminuten entfernt. Ein Mietwagen ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich. Das Netz für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut ausgebaut.”
