Holiday apartment with a balcony, in a central location in the historical town centre of Eisenach
Spend a relaxing and culturally interesting holiday at the foot of the Wartburg in the historical town centre of Eisenach. The generous non-smoking holiday apartment enjoys a central, but quiet location by the old town wall, near the Bachhaus.
The invitingly furnished apartment of 80m² is on the second floor of a refurbished 19th-century townhouse with three apartments. The owners live in the house next door. The apartment can accommodate six people. It provides three separate rooms laid with laminate flooring, of which two bedrooms with a double bed and a living and dining room with a sofa bed. A further supplementary bed is possible, as well as a child’s travel bed. The modern bathroom with a shower, bath and WC is fitted with under-floor heating.
The functionally equipped kitchen has an adjoining roofed balcony, inviting you to enjoy breakfast outdoors. There is a big public car park nearby. A private parking space can be rented about 250 metres away.
There are board games and puzzles for children. There are two lovely children’s playgrounds nearby. A traditional ride on a donkey to the Wartburg will provide lasting memories. Four-legged friends must be kept on the leash in town and any soiling must be removed by the owner. Please bring suitable bags.
There are plenty shops and restaurants nearby. The bakery two minutes away offers fresh bread rolls, including on Sundays. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone, or the idyll of the Thuringian Forest, wherever your mood takes you. You can walk in the footsteps of “Dr. Kleist” from the TV series of the same name and visit the original film sets, such as the Wertheimer cake shop in the neighbourhood. There are many places of interest and trip destinations within walking distance, including the Bachhaus, the UNESCO world cultural heritage Wartburg with the famous Lutherstube, the town castle and Thüringer Museum, the Lutherhaus, the Reuter-Wagner Villa or the Automobile World Eisenach. The Eisenach theatre (Landestheater) offers cultural events such as concerts, operettas, theatre or musicals. The town also has a cinema with five screens.
