This detached holiday house is in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Kals area by Grossglockner. The house is in Großdorf and therefore right next to the ski lifts, cross-country trails and many hiking trails. It is an ideal starting point for mountain tours, mountain biking, ski touring or simply extensive walks. Sports shops, the ski school and various shopping facilities, as well as restaurants with local specialities are all nearby.



It provides an ample ca. 150m² of living space for two to eleven people, plus a child. It was originally used as a private house and is now a temporary home for those seeking leisure and relaxation. The living room has two sofas, satellite TV with a CD/DVD player, a big dining table with chairs and a tiled fireplace stove, surrounded by a bench. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There are four separate bedrooms, one with a water bed, and three bathrooms. On the lower floor you can find a sauna (payable), a washing machine (payable), a comprehensive library and a collection of games, as well as generous cloakroom space. All the rooms have heating and free Wi-Fu access. The owner can also provide a cot/junior bed on request.



The living room opens directly onto the sunny terrace or the conservatory, which invite you to sit and relax. You can also grill in the second stove. Enjoy a grill evening with your loved ones by the cosy tiled fireplace stove. It is especially romantic with natural spectacles such as snowfall, rain or storms. The house is surrounded by a 1800m² garden, which you can share use of. The generous terrace faces south-east so you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. The site is fenced and surrounded by a hedge, so you can feel at home and undisturbed. Children can enjoy a climbing frame with a swing and slide. Pets are welcome and can also run around in the garden. Please understand that we must charge an additional cleaning fee for pets. There is a parking space in front of the house, sufficient for three cars. There is also a garage parking space.



The accommodation enjoys a sunny and central location at the heart of Großdorf. In winter, Kals by Grossglockner lies amidst a fabulous snowy landscape. Whether you would like to enjoy fun on the well-prepared and safe pistes in the extensive Grossglockner resort, or would rather explore the fabulous winter forests with cross-country skis or snow shoes, Kals offers all kinds of winter sports in a family-friendly atmosphere. The ski lift or cable car is only a few minutes’ walk from the house. You can enjoy fun sledging with your family or friends and experience the fascinating peace and quiet on the mountain after an ascent with touring skis. Build a snowman in the garden with your children, have a snowball fight and step through the fresh snow. Experience a feeling of happiness and deep inner satisfaction, when you step into the warm house from outside and warm up by the tiled fireplace stove, perhaps with a glass of mulled wine. Treat yourself to time out, close to nature. Experience the magic of mountain chalets and a genuine piece of Tyrol. The Glockner village Kals is at the heart of the Hohe Tauern, surrounded by a fabulous mountain setting and countless peaks of 3000 metres. It is about three hours by car from Munich and about 2.5 hours to the Italian Adriatic.
