Lovely three bedroom villa in a tranquile environment

We would like to welcome you to our 140 years old, fully renovated and cozy home in Vinodolska Valley. The villa is situated in a quiet area, 5 km from the nearby beaches in Crikvenica, 15 km from Rijeka international airport and 22 km from Rijeka. The villa is in a small traditional village with few neighbors and surrounded with Mediterranean forest and nature. You can enjoy nearby beaches, sea, historical sites and other family-friendly activities such as cycling (Tour of Croatia's track just meters away), hiking, horseback riding, fishing at the sea or lake, as well as paragliding.The following description is a first draft, which is still awaiting revision. Garden is surrounded by a high wall which offers a lot of privacy. The garden also features an old water well, an old fig and an apricot tree and other Mediterranean plants. The neighborhood is very quiet with few neighbors and surrounded with almost undisturbed nature and trees.

The villa can accommodate up to 6 persons and has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. A baby cot can also be available for use in one of the bedrooms. The villa is spacious with a large kitchen, dining area, a living room, hallways, patios, a game room and a terrace. The villa offers private parking for up to three vehicles and free WIFI.

The outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, paragliding, fishing in nearby lake and sea and other outdoors activities. Six marked cycling routes and seven walking trails are available to you in the vicinity. You can visit historic places and fortresses in its vicinity such as Drivenik, Badanj, Belgrad, Bribir, Novi Vinodolski, Senj, islands Krk and Rab and make one day trips to Istria, Venice and Plitvice Lakes. Various boat excursions to nearby islands are available from Crikvenica port. You only need to drive approx. 30 minutes to reach the nearby coniferous forests in Lukovo/Lič and find a refreshment from summer heat.

The villa was built in a traditional way and has nice brick arched ceilings in the ground floor area, as well as 60-80 cm thick walls which will protect you from summer heat and will probably render A/Cs unnecessary. The courtyard of the house is enclosed by a 2.80 - 3.00 m high stone wall which offers a complete privacy to its residents and traditional protection from bora (Northern wind). The enclosed courtyard is very much appreciated by families with small children and pets. There is an enclosed patio available to smokers. You can play darts and table football at the property.

    “Die Bilder und die Beschreibung stimmen zu 100% mit der Realität überein. Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen im September mit 2 Personen dort verbracht. Da wir zwei Hunde dabei hatten, war der abgeschlossene Garten, umgeben von Mauern ideal. Die nahe Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, die Betten bequem, so dass wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Klimaanlage vorhanden, die wir aufgrund der angenehmen Temperaturen im September allerdings nicht gebraucht haben. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, der Kontakt sehr nett und unkompliziert. Schlüsselübergabe bei An- und Abreise hat prima geklappt.
    Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und damit lassen sich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflüge in die Berge und ans Meer schnell erreichen.”

    “Immer wieder gerne. sehr zu empfehlen. Alles dabei. die Familie ist ein herzlicher Gastgeber und kümmert sich jederzeit um einen und ist rund um die Uhr per Telefon/Whatsapp erreichbar. Komplett uneinsichtiger Garten mit einem riesigen Feigenbaum. Positiv: tolles Haus in den Bergen bei Crikvenica. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und reicht für 5 (auch 6) Personen. mehr als 150 Jahre alt und schön restauriert, ein wunderbarer Garten, besonders für die Hunde. Wünschenswert wäre ein Pool :) aber sonst fehlt es an nichts. Kicker, Fahrräder, die Küche bestens ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der Weg zum Stadtstrand Crikvenica circa 15 Minuten mit dem Auto (da auch Einkaufen und Restaurants). Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt Negativ: ein Pool/Whirlpool (kleiner Teich) zur Erfrischung im heissen Sommer wäre die Krönung.”

    “Angenehmes,uriges Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Garten komplett ummauert und sicher, ideal für Kleinkinder. Küche zweckmäßig, übrige Einrichtung sehr schön mit alten, restaurierten Möbeln.
    Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, ausführliche Ausflugstipps + im Haus befindliches Infomaterial. Spricht perfekt Englisch, versteht auch deutsch.”
