On the edge of the Narbonnaise ponds, the village of Peyriac de mer is a charming village which has preserved its medieval "carrierettes" and its calades. In the shade of the plane trees, you can stroll around the central square, facing the church and the fountain. Numerous walks are possible from the village to the many natural sites of the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park: salt pans, stilt walk, etc. Bicycle lovers will be able to follow the many marked cycle routes. Narbonne is 15 minutes away, Carcassonne, the sites and castles of the Cathar country and Perpignan are less than an hour away. Small shops and restaurants in the village. The gîte is on 3 levels, in a village house, accessible only by a narrow and quiet lane, which goes around the bottom of the village and leads to the church square.

 Ground floor: 1 small bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm), bathroom with toilet. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (90 cm), 1 double bed (140 cm), bathroom with toilet. 2nd floor: living room with kitchenette and wood stove.

 A few more steps give access to a solarium-terrace, leaning against the old walls of the castle and its covered way, barbecue, picnic table. For parking, the village of Peyrac has set up car parks to regulate vehicles in the centre of the village. Your host will contact you beforehand and you will be able to park in a car park provided for this purpose about 100 metres from the gîte.
