    “Der Ort selber ist klein und ruhig, liegt mitten in der Natur, man kann gut spazieren gehen. Der nächste Supermarkt liegt ca. 10 Km. entfernt in Vrsar, Restaurants gibt es genügend in der Umgebung.”

    “Wer Ruhe sucht, ist in Begi goldrichtig! Der Ort selbst hat keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Am Ortseingang von Vrsar gibt es einen Konsum-Markt, der alles fürs tägliche Leben hat. Wer dort seine Brötchen am Vortag schon kauft und im Backofen der Ferienwohnung aufbackt, muss morgens nicht "auf Nahrungssuche" gehen.
    Restaurants gibt es in den Nachbarorten Flengi, Gradina und Klostar. Unser Favorit war der Sirdo Grill in Flengi, wo es sowohl leckeren Fisch als auch schmackhafte Fleischspeisen gibt.
    Wer sein Abendessen gerne noch mit einem Bummel verbinden will, kann das im 8 Kilometer entfernten Vrsar. Dort gibt es auch Sport- und gute Bademöglichkeiten. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ist Begi ideal. Sollte Istien wieder einmal unser Urlaubsziel sein, wäre Begi unsere Adresse!”
