    “eine sehr stille Gegend. Wer Ruhe liebt, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Die Gegend an sich gibt nicht viel her. Leider haben die Kroaten nur sehr grobkiesige Fahrradwege. Asphaltierte Wege sucht man vergebens, daher waren unsere mitgenommenen E-Bikes dort fehl am Platz, da die Strassen eng, kurvig und viel zu gefährlich sind zum gemütlich fahren.
    Wir haben halt diverse Städteausflüge gemacht (Rovinj, Opatije, Pula) Rijeka ist nicht sehenswert.
    Die Gastronomie in Labin war gut und preislich okay.
    Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ebenso in Labin. Der dortige Interspar ist aber mit einem österreichischen nicht vergleichbar. Da ist die kroatische Plodinekette empfehlenswerter. Aber aufpassen: wir haben festgestellt, dass die Kühlkette in dieser Gegend nicht nahtlos funktionieren dürfte, da die eingekauften Waren trotz gutem Kühlschrank wesentlich schneller schlecht wurden als bei uns. Mit dem Fleisch in dieser Gegend waren wir absolut nicht zufrieden. Zu fett und zu flachsig. Kein Qualitätsfleisch vorhanden.
    Wer Strandurlaub sucht, darf sowieso nicht unbedingt nach Kroatien fahren, da alle Strände mini und sehr steinig. Angenehm überrascht waren wir vom vielen Grün in dieser Gegend. Viel schöner als in den steppigen Kornaten.”

    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Vorort beschränkt, Labin als nächst größerer Ort mit PKW aber schnell erreichbar (Supermärkte, Markt).
    Die Bucht ist ruhig,. Viele kleine Buchten mit dem Boot erreichbar, gut zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln.
    Restaurant mit Boot allein erreichbar (haben wir aber nicht genutzt).
