    “Echt vakantie dorp een beetje in verval, na waarschijnlijk een tiental jaren geleden groots te zijn opgezet. Mojacar Playa is veel gezelliger.
    In Vera Playa zelf weinig mogelijkheden om uit eten te gaan.
    Supermarkten zijn er voldoende, maar dan moet je wel in het bezit zijn van een auto.”

    “Vera Playa heeft een groot naturistenstrand met diversen strandbars en restaurantjes voor een hapje en een drankje. Gemengd publiek, veel families, jong en oud(er). De straatjes achter het strand behoren ook tot de zona naturista. Het is er erg ongedwongen en vooral een familiebestemming. Het uitgaansleven ter plekke beperkt zich tot een paar restaurants met terras. Allerminst een mondaine uitstraling. Een paar kilometer verderop ligt Mojacar en dát heeft wel veel bars en restaurants. Zondags in Villaricos (op 4 km)een pittoreske zondagmarkt. Mojacar pueblo in de bergen, havenstadje Garrucha enz... alles in een straal van enkele kilometers.”
